BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE
REPLACEMENT

BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT
BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY (BHRT)

If you feel tired and stressed all the time, your hormones may have become unbalanced. BHRT is also known as bioidentical hormone replacement therapy or natural hormone therapy. Dr. Ward uses hormones that are identical on a molecular level to naturally occurring hormones in your body. Conventional hormone replacement therapy (CHRT) often uses strong synthetic or animal-based hormones, which are not bioidentical to naturally occurring human hormones and which the human body will not recognize as its own. One essential hormone that affects many important physiologic and psychological functions is testosterone. A deficiency typically leads to declining health conditions and reduced quality of life. Pellet implant testosterone therapy restores the right balance of hormones to reverse the decline. Testosterone pellet therapy is safe, reliable and effectively improves health and quality of life.

SECRETAGOGUES

In some patients it may be appropriate to prescribe a secretagogue in order to optimize levels of growth hormone. This comes in two different forms: Sermorelin and Secretropin. Both of these agents work to release growth hormone stored in the pituitary gland.

Sermorelin Acetate is a compound similar in structure to growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH). It has been known to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce and secrete growth hormone. It is often compounded with one or two other peptides (GHRP-2 and GHRP-6) in order to increase the natural production of growth hormone.

Secretropin(SRx), has clinically been found to increase the production and release of GH through a number of neurochemical pathways. Additionally, Secretropin is believed to directly stimulate pituitary Somatrophs thereby increasing the production and release of GH.

BENEFITS OF THESE SECRETAGOGUES INCLUDE

Increased Bone Density
Regenerated nerve tissues
Strengthened the cardiovascular system
Strengthened the immune system
Increased muscle mass
Enhanced energy levels
Improved ability to burn fat
Improve cognition and memory
